Advanced Chemistry Course Overview - Period 3
Note: We have Lab Period 2 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays!
Course Description:
The chemistry course is an interactive course for motivated learners. It is a full- year chemistry curriculum with twelve themes (scientists' tools, antacids, airbags, glow in the dark, soap, sports drinks, hot/cold packs, industry, forensics, batteries, polymers and nuclear). Students will have hands-on, active experiences throughout the year and will create a chemistry portfolio. Material is covered in more depth and detail than in junior chemistry with higher expectations for student performance and products.
